Orithen Sculpted Fireplace Mantel Shelf SPA925327

Solid hardwood, carved smooth. The Orithen Sculpted Fireplace Mantel Shelf trades a raw edge for flowing, rounded contours. It softens the fireplace wall while keeping a strong presence.

Form

Substantial proportions. Graceful curves. Light moves across the shaped surfaces and reveals the grain from every angle.

Process

Each slab is chosen for figure and strength. It is kiln-dried, then carved by hand and sanded in stages to a silky finish. Only genuine solid wood is used. No MDF, no veneer, no composite.

• Thick floating mantel with a sculpted profile
• Space for candles, art, books, and decor
• Six lengths between 48 and 73 inches, with depth and height growing from about 7 by 8 inches to 10 by 10
• Custom sizes available
• Finishes: mahogany, natural oak, black, brown, dark walnut, or teak

Pair it with stone, brick, plaster, or a simple surround. It suits living rooms, great rooms, and mountain retreats alike. Style it sparingly. Let the curves lead. A pair of candlesticks is plenty.

Grain and figure vary with every board, so each mantel is unique. All are made to order.
